Against the Mental Health Shame

Mental Health Essay: Introduction

Mental illnesses and the importance of mental health have been turned into stigma and discrimination through time in society. The greatness of this issue, mental disorders, have been overwhelming individuals, families, and communities. The World was not aware of how crucial this matter is in the past. Still, in the last few years, the World is acknowledging the considerable onus and possibility for mental health acquisition. We can create a change in this game by using our current information, which is accessible to administer already. We must embellish our investment in mental illnesses considerably. We need to invest in financial and human resources.

Body Paragraphs

There are flourishing aids for mental diseases that are growing day by day. I believe that our company should allot more budget into this critical issue of our society. While doing that, we also should enhance our human resources so that they will be able to support individuals who need mental health care and advertise the importance of mental disorder cures. Companies with limited resources such as our company should set up particularly direct procedures, schemes, and actions to support mental health services. The government, organizations, communities, companies, and individuals should invest in mental health to increase prosperity in our society. There are nearly 450 million people anguish from mental diseases (450 Million People Suffer from Mental Illness Right Now). Our funding should support the utmost needs and treatments. By doing so, we will be able to prevent chronic disability earlier deaths.

Nowadays, services are more humane and more persuasive, which submits a quality life to people who suffer from these diseases. It can also be inevitable to gain considerable returns when conditions and productivity gets better. To summarize, our investment will support individuals and communities by helping them to avert and manage the mental health issues that occur in life and give them a space to take pleasure in life and their health. For all individuals, mental, physical, and social health are crucial and interlacing strings of life. In my opinion, when we take part in such a program, our perception about how essential mental health issues and people’s well-being matters is we will be able to bridge a good and growing relationship in our community and country finally in the World.

We can describe mental health as being in good condition in the individuals, both emotions and physical health. In point of fact, supporting mental health illness programs can help individuals to reduce the stress of life, to avoid becoming nonproducing societies, and help them to realize how capable they are by doing so people can work with joy. They can be partly responsible for their communities. More’s the pity, around the World, there are still prejudgements about mental disorders and how important curing those are (Why Mental Health is Just as Important as Physical Health ) People tend to think that physical illnesses are more critical and crucial. That is why investments and funding are neglected most of the time, but there are outstanding researches that present our mental health is affecting our physical health.

The program which the World Health Organization(WHO) presents is already available with progressive approaches, treatments, and interferences, and these premises are cost-effective (WHO | WHO Mental Health Gap Action Programme (mhGAP)). We can say that now is the time to work collaboratively to come through these issues and present a collective attempt to reduce the space between the current work that already done and what we need. In order to draw attention to this hardship of mental illnesses and how to focus on ways of using resources as a responsible company, we should use our capability. It is not only the World Health Organization’s duty to prevent such problems in society; it is also a duty to communities, the other organizations, research institutions, foundations, and companies. This gap is definitely accountability for each organ of our society.

WHO claimed that four hundred million people are suffering from behavioral disorders, and one million people commit suicide every year. Still, we can easily guess that this number is got higher in the last few years. Six crucial premises cause this scene, and four of them occur due to living with disorders for ages. These disorders are neuropsychiatric such as depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and alcohol use. It is known that 1 out of 4 families at least have one member who suffers from mental disabilities, and most of the time, family members are giving the necessary care to those who are suffering. In contrast, there is a possibility that family members disregard the disorder or disregard the difficulties that occur; thus, it is hard to evaluate and measure the situation.

A combination of well-targeted prevention programs in mental disorders, including whole community approaches we will be able to refrain from years of attitudes developed through mental disabilities while doing that we can decrease the shame people are facing due to their mental health problems, expand the social capital significantly, support to cut down the extreme need in society and improve growth in the country. Reputable researches administer such instances that present various types of programs based on different ages, adolescence to adulthood, and different situations, including post-traumatic stress, occurred due to marital and work-related stress, anxiety, or depression (Chapter 7. Development of College Mental–Health Programs). In addition to that, these issues also seen in job loss cases, widowhood, or adaptation of retirement.

In order to fight against the stigma, people created and helped those who suffer from mental disorders World Health Organization has created a program called “Mental Health Global Action Programme” (mhGAP) this program aims to decrease the number of deaths related to traumas individuals living for ages and help the World to understand such illnesses and the possible treatments. While implementing strategies WHO is planned various progressive approaches to issues, some of the programs are; the Global Campaign against Epilepsy and the Global Campaign for Suicide Prevention, and structuring national policies on alcohol use and alcohol-use related problems, these programs use exciting activities and projects. In addition to that, they are also establishing guidelines for mental health interference in leading positions, schizophrenia, alcohol-related disorders, drug use, depression, epilepsy, and neurological disabilities.

Mental Health Essay: Conclusion

After all, these programs WHO present, help increase and improve liable technology transfer to boost the country’s volume. In order to close the gap between the needs and what is currently being applied, WHO compiles materials about the importance and the hardship of mental issues everywhere in the World and also about financial, sociocultural and human resources that are accessible to answer in the countries which are neglected due to spawned mental disorders. At the same time WHO is wide-spreading psychological health-related technologies and knowledge to allow countries in innovating preventive measures and promoting appropriate treatment for mental, neurological, and substance abuse disorders. They are raising awareness about mental disabilities through instruction and advocacy for more appreciation for human rights and less stigma. The World Health Organization is establishing the first broad worldwide partnership of mental health-related counties: the Global Council for Mental Health. Professional NGOs, labor, leaders of religious groups, family members, and consumer groups, parliamentarians, and business organizations are all interested in pursuing activities for the development of mental health services through this common platform led by WHO. In conclusion, I believe the program applied by WHO will be sustainable, and as a consequence, we will be able to measure success through their platforms.
